They'll give me $3000 for my junk?

We will pay a minimum of $3000* for your trade… push it, pull it, tow it… we want it!

So, is this for real? I have a broken down FORD that needs a new engine which has been sitting for 3 years…. it's not even worth $50. I mean I could go buy the cheapest used car on their lot and be ahead by thousands.
But since it's non-operational, I haven't registered it for 3 years…. I guess that means it's not eligible?

No its probaly eligible. The problem is you will have to pick from certain cars that all marked up an extra $3000. If it is on a new car it must have a rebate on it of around the same $3000 that you would have to sign to the dealership. Usually its on used cars though since the dealers set those prices.

WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS MAKING YOU THINK THEY GIVE YOU 3000 BUCKS BUT THEY ALL WORK IT OUT IN THE FINANCIAL DETAILS AND END UP PAYING YOU NOTHING FOR IT BUT THEY GIVE YOU A REBATE ON THE NEW CAR WHICH IS PROBABLY ALSO A LIE NOW IF THEY BUY YOUR CAR WITHOUT YOU BUYING A CAR THEN IS A GREAT AWESOME DEAL!!!!

They might call and talk to them they dont really give you anything they just sell it for more.If you are going to buy a new auto shop around.When we go to buy a new auto it takes us all day,to me its a job I try to get the best deal around the last auto we got from dealer to dealer all day we saved around 3000 dollars for the same auto a good day pay.

There is probably a catch to it any ways. I doubt if they would give you $3000 even if it was operational and registered. There would be no harm in calling just to see if you could get a few bucks out of it,even if they gave you $30 or 40$ it's better then nothing and you won't have it sitting there anymore. Just give it a shot and see what happens,you have nothing to lose. You could always tell them they could have it. You won't have to deal with it anymore.

Their vehicle that they want o sell you is marked up $3000. Just to get you business, Its a scam. YOU GET 3K OFF A CAR THAT YOU BUY FROM THEM which has been marked up already and the get your trade no matter how crappy for free.

They'll find a way to ***** you. Either by not budging on the sale price of the car you want. By front end, or back end, loading the financing terms. Trust me, car sales people, or their sales managers, are experts at number crunching.
