Most of what I've found there is junk, but are there good cars to be found as well? Has anybody bought from a craigslist seller? Are vehicles in the shape they're represented to be in?
I can't decide whether it's worth a long drive to look at a car that looks great in pictures, but could look totally different in person.

Has anyone ever tried a Venom 400 performance control module on any vehicle? I want to know if it actually works? Does it help deliver more fuel so that you get more power? I won't buy it if it is a piece of junk but looking at it, it sounds too good to be true. But I heard some people trying it and it's not good, and some people actually use it still. Well any suggestions on if this thing is worth it.

Hello, one of my friends called a junk car shop that posted an advertisement for junk cars. He claimed to own a vehicle that he did not own that was parked by someone on a street with a for sale sign on it. The junk car shop said it didn't need the title or keys (which he didn't have since the car isnt his) so they came and towed the car away thinkin it was my friends (they payed him $200 for it) the junk car shop was unaware the car wasn't my friends and the owner of the vehicle is not aware the car is gone (yet) what could potentially happen to my friend if he is caught for doing this?

I recently had QUITE an experience with one of these recalls. While on vacation my car had an electrical short and burnt up in the parking space next to the cabin we had rented.I paid someone to take the car to a junk yard and rented a car to come home.I found out later there was a factory recall for electrical short on my vehicle(my loss i had the car junked already). I am writing this to warn others: IF THERE IS A RECALL THAT COULD BE A FIRE HAZARD-DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR IN THE GARAGE/CARPORT—once the fire started under the hood of my car there was no starting or moving the vehicle–had it been at home in the garage and happened at night -my house would have had serious fire damage and we may have even burned up—just a warning because i had never thought about this risk and want to make others aware–thank you
Well-I did not ignore any recall on the vehicle–i never received a recall notice-maybe because this was not a new vehicle-i purchased it used–and there was NO warning or any indication anything was wrong with the vehicle

Will we adapt the new fuel/energy source to our current vehicles?
Or will the cars of today be junk?
(kinda like a old school record isnt going to work in a cd player)

The car we are currently driving (POS) is in my fiance's name. It is a piece of junk. He had defaulted on some credit cards after purchasing that vehicle so now his credit isn't as good as it used to be. We still owe $5,000 on that vehicle.
We were planning on putting the new one in my name since I have better credit than him. Seeing as though my name is not on the POS, we can't do a trade in. (Could we put my name on it before it's paid off? If so that would solve our problem.)
We could sell it privately and use the money for a down payment on the new one, but then we'd have to pay for 2 vehicles – one of which we don't even have anymore – and we can't afford that.
Should we just quit paying on it and let it get repo'd, since his credit is bad anyway?
Asad… just wondering why they would reward me with money for backing out of a contract.
